Casas Kismet is located in Nosara, Costa Rica a quiet surf town known for its year round, world class surf breaks, and has become one of the largest yoga destinations in Costa Rica.
The town naturally attracts people seeking restoration, relaxation, healing, and adventure.
Casas Kismet is nested on top of a quiet ridge in Playa Pelada boasting incredible ocean views. The property feels like you are nestled into a cocoon with good energy, peaceful vibes, ocean breezes, the sound of nature, and wild life, all while remaining safe and secure and it's just a 10 minute walk to the beach.

We highly recommend you fly into Liberia International Airport as it is 2.5-hour drive to Casas Kismet. You can fly into San Jose; however, the drive will be 4.5-5 hours (or more) from the airport.

Check with your cellular service provider for international rates. You will typically need to ensure you have an international plan. Most carriers charge $10/day in the US. Casas Kismet has free Wi-Fi, so you are welcome to keep your cellular service turned off. You can use Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, or whatever you prefer if you want to communicate back home.

Costa Rica is a developing country so there are a few things we do here differently than in a more industrialized country.
Due to fragile septic systems, when using the restroom, please do not flush toilet paper or any other products other than natural waste. Please dispose of products in the waste basket next to the toilet. Housekeeping will take the trash out daily.
Costa Rica is at the forefront of ecotourism and sustainability. Casas Kismet is dedicated to conservation of water and energy. We encourage guests to do simple things like reuse towels and turn off lights and air conditioning when not in use as these simple steps help reduce our carbon footprint in the jungle.
Power outages may happen during your stay. We take this as a sign to live the Pura Vida life. That means to take things as they come, slow down, relax, enjoy life and being in nature.

Casas Kismet is a 10-minute walk to the beaches of Playa Pelada. It is a 20-minute walk to La Luna Restaurant and a lovely 30-minute walk to North Guiones Beach. Tuk-Tuks are available for inexpensive transportation and can pick you up from Casas Kismet. Car rentals are available in both Liberia and Nosara. ATVs and golf carts are also available for rent around town for day and week rates.
